Rick Klauser was promoted to the role of Marketing Head Infant Nutrition Nestlé U.S. in October 2009. His expanded responsibilities include leading the marketing efforts against the $1.8 Billion Gerber portfolio including; Good Start Infant Formula, Gerber and Graduates brands. He manages over 180 employees in the Brand Management, Innovation, Consumer & Shopper Insights, Integrated Marketing & Communications, Parents Resource Center, Visual Branding & Medical/Professional Marketing & Detailing groups. He is a member of the Marketing Board of Nestlé N.A. brands and sits on the Nestlé Nutrition North American Leadership Team. Prior to this, Rick was the Vice President of Gerber’s Food portfolio where he managed several key initiatives including; The Gerber marketing integration into Nestlé, significant innovation initiatives which tripled the Graduates franchise & launched the first line of preschooler targeted food products in the U.S. Rick began his career in Manufacturing, at Nestlé, and moved into Marketing after completing his MBA in Marketing & Finance. He has more than 25 years of Food, HBC, Corporate & Private Equity experience and has been a Marketing leader at Gerber for 5 years, now part of Nestlé. Rick has won multiple Effie Awards for advertising industry excellence, re-introduced the Gerber brand to Canadian Consumers and, in April 2010, led the largest launch campaign in company history – A 360° Infant Nutrition Program coined “Start Healthy Stay Healthy” designed to create advocacy among Doctors, Parents & Key Stakeholders to fight childhood obesity through products, services & education. Rick lives in New Jersey with his wife Lisa and their daughter Casey, 15, and son Griffen, 11. Rick enjoys water sports, tennis, running and attending his children’s sporting events. |
