Lou Schwarcz, MA, Associate Executive Director has been with Family Service of Morris County since 2003. Lou has a Masters Degree in Clinical and Community Psychology from the University of Maryland, and a BA in psychology from Rutgers University. Lou has been a leader in the non-profit sector in Morris County and New Jersey for over twenty years, developing programs that serve at-risk children, adolescents, seniors and caregivers, people with mental health and addiction issues, homeless and indigent adults, and people with physical disabilities. Lou also had a leadership role in the Morris County Mental Health Emergency response after 9/11/01. Currently Lou oversees the programs and services at FSMC. Lou also chairs the FSMC Military Families and Veterans Outreach Program Advisory Committee, and also sits on the Morris County Professional Advisory Committee, Morris County Cross Systems Review Committee, and the Morris County Senior Services Task Force on Mental Illness, Substance Abuse and Domestic Violence. |
