Make a Donation and Make a Difference!

Your contribution to Family Service can truly make a profound difference for a child, a single parent, a family, a senior or any one of the more than 5,000 people that Family Service helps each year.

Family Service accepts gifts of cash, checks, securities, Visa/MasterCard, matching gifts, gifts-in-kind and planned gifts in the form of bequests, trusts or life insurance policies. If you would like to make a gift, please call Janet Horowitz, Director of Development, at (973) 538-5260 or email at jhorowitz@fsmc.org.

Ways You Can Support
Family Service

Become a friend of Family Service and make a gift to our annual Friends of Family Service Campaign.

Amidst all of the other requests for support that are vying for your attention and your philanthropic dollars, we hope you will take a minute to review our appeal and see how your investment at Family Service will help change the lives of children and adolescents, families in crisis and seniors and their caregiving families.

The funds received through the FFS Appeal are the funds that we live by and enable Family Service to provide more than 20 programs that serve and strengthen children and families in our community.

Become a member of our Family Tree

With a gift of $1,000 or more you can join our Family Tree Giving Clubs which provide leadership support to Family Service each year. Our Family Tree consists of the following membership levels:

  • Redwood Club ($10,000 and above)
  • Sycamore Club ($5,000 and above)
  • Elm Club ($2,500 and above)
  • Evergreen Club ($1,000 and above)

As a member you will receive biannual updates through the Family Album newsletter and an invitation to our annual Family Service thank you reception.

Recognize someone special in your life with a gift to our Recognition Fund

A gift to our Recognition Fund will provide you with an opportunity to honor or memorialize someone while spreading the word about the work of Family Service and providing financial support. A donation of any amount is accepted in recognition of a birthday, anniversary, new baby, promotion or other special occasion or to memorialize someone. A card is sent to the individual or their family informing them of your kind gesture.

Come to the Party of the Season!

The Annual Spring Ball, celebrating 195 years of service to the community, will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, NJ. This event raises money for Family Service's programs that support children, families and seniors in the Morris County community.

You can support Family Service by attending the Family Service Spring Ball - a Morris County tradition for 46 years! Ways to support the Ball include: Sponsorship Opportunities, purchasing tickets, hosting a table, participating in the Ad Journal or donating to the Silent Auction.

For more information on the Spring Ball, please contact Janet Horowitz at 973-538-5260 or by email at jhorowitz@fsmc.org.
